    From the main entrance of Murchison Falls National Park, head towards the town of Masindi. Follow the signs to the Paraa ferry crossing. Once you reach the ferry, cross the Nile River (note that there may be a fee for the ferry service, which is approximately 10,000 UGX per vehicle). After crossing, continue on the main road towards Masindi. Keep an eye out for the signs leading to Friendly Wilderness, which is situated in Masindi. The total driving distance is approximately 80 km, and the journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on road conditions.

    If you are using public transportation, start from any location within Murchison Falls National Park where you can find a taxi or matatu (shared minibus). Head to the nearest taxi park, typically located in the town of Masindi. The fare to Masindi from the park may vary but expect to pay around 10,000 to 15,000 UGX per person. Once in Masindi, you can either take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) or walk to Friendly Wilderness, which is located in the area.
