Getting There

Bicycle
From the center of Mbale, head northeast on Republic Street towards the Mbale Regional Referral Hospital. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Naboa Road. Turn left onto Naboa Road and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass through the bustling local market area. Once you reach the intersection with Kapchorwa Road, turn right. Follow Kapchorwa Road for about 10 kilometers. You will start ascending towards Kapchorwa, and Sipi Falls will be on your right as you approach the village of Sipi. Look for signs indicating Sipi Falls, and follow them to reach the entrance.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the main Mbale bus park. Exit the park and head northeast on High Street, passing by local shops and markets. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Naboa Road. Here, turn left and walk along Naboa Road for about 2 kilometers. You will see the local market on your left. Keep going until you reach the intersection with Kapchorwa Road, then turn right. Walk along Kapchorwa Road for approximately 10 kilometers. This is a longer walk, so ensure you have plenty of water and take breaks as needed. As you get closer to Sipi, keep an eye out for the signs that will lead you to the falls.
