    If you are driving from Sebei, start by heading towards the town of Kapchorwa. Follow the main road from Sebei to Kapchorwa, which is approximately 30 km and usually takes about 30 minutes. From Kapchorwa, continue on the road towards the direction of the Mount Elgon National Park entrance. You will see signs pointing towards the park. Make sure to have your vehicle in good condition as some parts of the road can be rough. The park entrance is located at a place called 'Budadiri', which is about 12 km from Kapchorwa. There is an entrance fee to the park, which is approximately 30,000 Ugandan Shillings (around $8 USD) for foreign tourists.

    To reach Mount Elgon National Park using public transport, first, take a matatu (shared taxi) or a bus from Sebei to Kapchorwa. The fare is usually around 5,000 Ugandan Shillings (about $1.50 USD) and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Kapchorwa, you can hire a local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to the park entrance in Budadiri.
