For those using public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from your location in Ssese Islands to the ferry terminal at either Nakiwogo or Entebbe. Ensure that you catch the ferry to Bukakata. After reaching Bukakata, you can either walk or hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Mugasun Beach, which is about 5 kilometers away. Keep some Ugandan shillings handy for both the ferry fare and the boda-boda ride, as costs may vary.
