    Getting There

    Car

    If you are traveling by car from any point in the Ssese Islands, head towards the main ferry landing at Bugala Island. Once you reach the ferry, take a ferry to the mainland, which typically costs around 7,000 UGX per person. After disembarking, follow the signs towards Masaka. As you approach Masaka, look for the signs directing you to Nabugabo Beach. Continue on the road until you reach Kasokero. The Nabugabo Resource Center is located at MX3C+3V, Kasokero. Look for the entrance that is well-marked, and you may find parking available on-site.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Nabugabo Resource Center using public transportation, start by taking a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) or a matatu from your location on the Ssese Islands to the nearest ferry landing at Bugala Island. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to the mainland (approximately 7,000 UGX per person). Upon arrival at the mainland, board a matatu heading towards Masaka. Inform the driver you wish to get off at the junction for Nabugabo Beach. The matatu fare is usually around 10,000 UGX. From the junction, you can either walk or hire a boda-boda to cover the remaining distance to the Nabugabo Resource Center located at MX3C+3V, Kasokero.
