Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main ferry landing at Bugala Island. Drive towards the town of Kalangala, which is about 10 km away. From Kalangala, take the road towards Bukeri. Follow the road signs and continue for approximately 12 km until you reach the village of Bukeri. Once in Bukeri, navigate to the coordinates HQ5F+84H, which is your destination, Nabukonge. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for the bumpy, unpaved roads typical in this rural area.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at the Bugala Island ferry landing. Take a taxi or a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to Kalangala town. From Kalangala, you can find a local taxi (shared minibus) heading towards Bukeri. Confirm with the driver that they will stop at or near the coordinates HQ5F+84H. The taxi ride from Kalangala to Bukeri will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on road conditions. Once in Bukeri, you may need to take a short walk to reach Nabukonge.
Boda Boda
If you prefer a faster option after reaching Bukeri, hire a boda boda from the village to take you directly to Nabukonge at HQ5F+84H. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey, which typically costs a small fee depending on the distance.
