Car
If you are driving from the center of Fort Portal, head southwest on Ntoroko Rd towards the Lugard Monument. Continue on Ntoroko Rd for about 1.5 km, then turn left onto M73F. After approximately 200 meters, you will see the Lugard Monument on your right. There is parking available nearby, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Lugard Monument using public transportation, first, make your way to the Fort Portal taxi park. From there, take a taxi heading towards Ntoroko. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Lugard Monument. The fare should be around 1,000 UGX. The taxi ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive, the monument will be a short walk from where you are dropped off.
