If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Kasese. Head southwest on the Kasese-Bundibugyo Road (Aha). Continue for about 70 kilometers until you reach the Ishasha area, which is part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look for signs directing you to the Ishasha Sector, which is known for its tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival at the Ishasha Entrance Gate (coordinates: -0.585803, 29.717567), you will need to pay an entrance fee to access the park. The fee is approximately $40 for foreign non-residents, $20 for foreign residents, and 10,000 UGX for East African citizens. Ensure you have cash ready for the entrance fee.
