Continue for about 70 kilometers until you reach the Ishasha area, which is part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Look for signs directing you to the Ishasha Sector, which is known for its tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival at the Ishasha Entrance Gate (coordinates: -0.585803, 29.717567), you will need to pay an entrance fee to access the park. The fee is approximately $40 for foreign non-residents, $20 for foreign residents, and 10,000 UGX for East African citizens. Ensure you have cash ready for the entrance fee.

For those using public transportation, start your journey from the nearest major town, Kasese. Take a shared taxi or a bus to the town of Bunagana, which is about 40 kilometers away. From Bunagana, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) to take you directly to the Ishasha Sector. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it typically costs around 10,000 to 20,000 UGX depending on the distance and your negotiation skills. Once you reach the Ishasha Entrance Gate, you will need to pay the entrance fee to access the park as mentioned earlier.
