Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start on the M06 highway from your location in Bessarabia. Follow the signs towards Kyiv, which is approximately a 2-hour drive depending on traffic. Once you reach Kyiv, look for signs to the Shevchenkivs'kyi district. Use a GPS or map application to navigate to Triokhsviatytelska St, 8, where the monastery is located. There is limited street parking available nearby.

• Bus

  To reach St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery by bus, head to the nearest bus station in Bessarabia that offers routes to Kyiv. Buses frequently depart throughout the day and the journey takes about 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Kyiv, take a local bus or trolleybus towards the city center. Get off at the 'Poshtova Ploshcha' stop and walk approximately 15 minutes to the monastery located at Triokhsviatytelska St, 8.

• Train

  For those preferring to travel by train, head to the nearest train station in Bessarabia that connects to the Kyiv railway network. Purchase a ticket to Kyiv and board the train; the journey will take around 2 to 3 hours. Upon arriving at Kyiv's main train station, take the metro from 'Vokzalna' station to 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti' station. From there, it’s a 20-minute walk to St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery at Triokhsviatytelska St, 8.

• Metro

  If you're already in Kyiv, you can take the metro to get to the monastery. The nearest metro station is 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti' on the blue line. After exiting the metro, walk towards the river and then head east on Hrushevskoho St. Follow the signs leading to St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery, which is approximately a 20-minute walk.
