Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the city of Yevpatoria, which is approximately 130 km away from Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv. Head west on the E105 highway towards the village of Chornomorske. Continue following signs for Tarkhankut, which will direct you to the N26 road. After about 40 km, take a left turn onto the road leading to the peninsula. The drive offers scenic views of the Black Sea coast. Ensure to keep your fuel tank filled, as gas stations are scarce near the peninsula.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv by public transportation, take a bus from Yevpatoria to the nearby village of Olenevka, which is the closest settlement to the peninsula. Bus tickets cost around 50-70 UAH. Once in Olenevka, you can hire a local taxi or take a minibus to the Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv area. The taxi ride will cost approximately 200-300 UAH depending on your negotiation skills and the exact drop-off point. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services can be limited.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, cycling to Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv is an excellent way to enjoy the landscape. Rent a bicycle in Yevpatoria and follow the same route as by car. The approximate cycling distance is 130 km, so plan for a full day of travel. Make sure to carry water, snacks, and a repair kit. Be cautious of traffic on the roads, especially near towns.

• Walking

  If you're near Olenevka, you can consider walking to Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv. It's about 20 km from the village to the peninsula's edge. This option is not recommended unless you are well-prepared for a long hike, as there are limited facilities along the way. Bring enough water and food, and wear appropriate hiking gear.
