Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from Simferopol, which is the capital of Crimea. Take the M18 highway towards Sevastopol. Continue on the M18 for approximately 64 km until you reach the turnoff for the A292 road towards Sudak. Follow the A292 for about 35 km, and then take the exit toward Dzhangul'. The destination will be about 10 km down the road. Ensure to have a GPS or a reliable map app, as some areas may have limited signage.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Dzhangul' by public transportation, first take a marshrutka (minibus) from Simferopol to Sudak. These minibuses depart frequently from the bus station. The ride will take about 1.5 hours. Once in Sudak, you can catch another marshrutka headed toward Dzhangul'. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Dzhangul', as some routes may vary. The total cost for the journey should be around 200-300 RUB for the first leg and 100 RUB for the second leg.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, cycling to Dzhangul' is an option. Starting from Sudak, take the coastal road towards Dzhangul'. It's about a 10 km ride, and while the route is scenic, be prepared for some steep climbs. Ensure your bike is in good condition, and carry plenty of water and snacks, as there are limited stops along the way.

• Walking/Hiking

  If you are near Dzhangul' and prefer a hiking route, there are trails that lead to the area from nearby villages. Start from the village of Otradnoye, which is about 5 km away. The hike will take approximately 1.5 hours, and the trails offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Wear comfortable shoes and carry enough water.
