Car
If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the town of Maniava, which is located approximately 10 km from the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. From Ivano-Frankivsk, take the H-09 highway towards Mukachevo. After about 40 minutes, take the exit towards Maniava. Once in Maniava, follow the local roads to find the parking area near the trailhead. There are signs directing you towards the waterfall. Parking may incur a small fee, so keep some cash handy.
Public Transportation
To reach Maniava Waterfall using public transportation, take a bus from Ivano-Frankivsk to the village of Maniava. Buses run regularly from the central bus station. The journey takes about 1 hour. Upon arriving in Maniava, you can either walk to the waterfall, which is about a 30-minute hike, or hire a local guide or taxi from the village to take you closer to the trailhead. Be prepared for a small walking distance to the actual waterfall. Ensure you have some cash for the bus fare and any local transportation.
