Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from Chernihiv Central Park (Central'nyi Park). Exit the park towards ul. Myru (Peace Street) and head north. Walk straight along ul. Myru for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with ul. Radianska (Radical Street). Cross the street at the traffic lights. Continue walking straight, and you will see the Transfiguration Cathedral ahead on your right after about 500 meters.

    If you are near the Chernihiv Historical Museum, exit the museum and walk towards the main square (Ploshcha Heroiv). From there, take ul. Myru heading east. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with ul. Radianska. Turn left onto ul. Radianska and walk straight until you see the Transfiguration Cathedral on your right.

    Locate the nearest bus stop and take bus number 6 or 8 heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Kurgan Slavy' (Mound of Glory).
