Car
If you are traveling by car from the Chornohora Range, head southeast towards the city of Ivano-Frankivsk. From Ivano-Frankivsk, take the H10 highway heading south until you reach the city of Ternopil. Continue on the H10 until you connect with the M05 highway, and follow this road until you reach Kherson. Once in Kherson, follow signs to Askania-Nova, which is approximately 50 km south of the city center. The total drive should take approximately 8-10 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Make sure to have some cash as tolls may apply along certain routes.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To travel by public transportation, take a bus from the Chornohora Range area to Ivano-Frankivsk. From Ivano-Frankivsk, you can catch another bus directly to Kherson. Buses from Ivano-Frankivsk to Kherson typically run several times a day, but be sure to check the latest schedules. The journey can take approximately 10-12 hours in total. Once you arrive in Kherson, you can take a local taxi or a bus to reach Askania-Nova, which is about 50 km south of Kherson. Ensure you have some Ukrainian Hryvnia for bus fares and taxi rides.

If opting for train travel, take a train from the nearest train station in the Chornohora Range area to Ivano-Frankivsk. From Ivano-Frankivsk, take a train to Kherson. Train schedules vary, but it is advisable to book your tickets in advance. Upon arriving in Kherson, use local transportation (taxi or bus) to reach Askania-Nova, which is about 50 km south of the city center. The total travel time could range from 10 to 14 hours depending on waiting times and connections. Be prepared for costs associated with both train tickets and local travel.
