Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Simferopol, the capital of Crimea. Take the E105 highway heading west towards Sevastopol. Continue on the highway until you reach the town of Bakhchisaray. From Bakhchisaray, follow the signs to the town of Balaklava. Once you reach Balaklava, continue along the coastal road until you see signs for Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv (approximately 200 km from Simferopol). The area is well-marked, and you can park your car at designated parking areas nearby. Make sure to carry cash for parking fees, which can vary.
Public Transportation
To reach Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv using public transport, start by taking a bus from Simferopol Bus Station to the town of Yevpatoria. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. From Yevpatoria, you can catch a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards the village of Olenevka, which is approximately 45 km away. The minibus ride should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Olenevka, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv, which is about 15 km away. Be prepared to pay for the minibus and taxi rides, as they typically cost around 100-150 rubles each.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route and have the budget for it, consider using a taxi service. You can book a taxi from any major city in Crimea directly to Tarkhankut·sʹkyy Pivostriv. The fare will depend on your starting location, but expect to pay approximately 2000-3000 rubles for a round trip from Simferopol. It’s advisable to negotiate the price beforehand or use a ride-hailing app if available. Ensure that the driver knows your destination.
