Car
If you're traveling by car, make your way to Kerch. From Simferopol, take the A147 road towards Kerch. This journey will take approximately 3.5 hours, covering around 200 km. Once in Kerch, follow the signs to the city center. Once you reach the center, head towards Repina Street. The Yeni-Kale Fortress is located at Repina St, Kerch. There is parking available nearby but be sure to check local parking regulations.
Public Transportation - Bus
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Simferopol to Kerch. Buses leave regularly from the Simferopol bus station, and the journey takes about 4 hours. Once you arrive at the Kerch bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Repina Street. Walking will take approximately 30 minutes, while a taxi will be quicker and cost around 200-300 RUB.
Public Transportation - Train
Alternatively, you can take a train from Simferopol to Kerch. Check the local train schedules as they may vary. The train ride takes about 4 hours. Upon arrival at the Kerch train station, you can take a taxi or local bus to Repina Street. A taxi will be more convenient and cost between 200-300 RUB. If you choose to walk, it will take around 30 minutes.
Walking
If you're already in Kerch and prefer to walk, head towards the city center and find Repina Street. The Yeni-Kale Fortress is located along this street. Depending on where you are in the city, it may take you anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes on foot.
