Car
If you're traveling by car, make your way to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, where St. Sophia's Cathedral is located. From any location in Crimea, take the E105 highway or the M18 towards Kherson. From Kherson, continue on the M14 and then the M6 to reach Kyiv. Once in Kyiv, follow signs for the city center. The cathedral is located at Volodymyrska St, 24. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that there may be fees for parking in the city.
Public Transportation
For those opting for public transportation, take a bus or train from Crimea to Kyiv. There are regular bus services from Simferopol to Kyiv. Once you arrive at the Kyiv bus station, you can take the metro from 'Vystavkovyi Tsentr' station (or central bus station) to 'Zoloti Vorota' station. From there, it's a short walk to St. Sophia's Cathedral. Alternatively, you can take a taxi or rideshare service directly to the cathedral from the bus station.
Walking
If you're already in the vicinity of St. Sophia's Cathedral, you can reach it on foot. The cathedral is situated in the Shevchenkivs'kyi district, and is accessible from many nearby hotels and attractions. Look for directional signs towards Volodymyrska Street, and you will find the cathedral at number 24. The area is pedestrian-friendly, and walking allows you to enjoy the surrounding architecture and atmosphere.
