Getting There

Car
From Dragobrat, take the main road leading north towards the village of Yasinya. The road is well-marked and should take about 30 minutes. Once you reach Yasinya, follow the signs towards the village of Vorokhta. After Vorokhta, continue driving towards the Hoverla trailhead. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the trail entrance, which is approximately 3 km from the base of Говерла.

Public Transportation
Take a marshrutka (minibus) from Dragobrat to Yasinya. The journey usually takes around 30 minutes and costs approximately 50 UAH. Once in Yasinya, catch another marshrutka heading to Vorokhta. This leg of the journey will take about 20 minutes and cost around 30 UAH. After arriving in Vorokhta, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Hoverla trailhead, which is about 5 km away. Taxi fares may vary, but expect to pay around 100-150 UAH.

Once you have reached the Hoverla trailhead (after parking your car or arriving by public transport), follow the marked trail that leads to the peak of Говерла. The hike takes about 2-3 hours depending on your pace and fitness level. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking boots and bring water and snacks.
