Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the town of Yaremche, which is a common base for visitors to Hoverla Mountain. From Yaremche, head southeast on H-09 road towards Vorokhta. Continue on H-09 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Stezhka Na H. Kukul trailhead. There, you will find a small parking area. Please be aware that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 30 UAH for the day.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Yaremche to Vorokhta. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Vorokhta, you can either walk (about 3 km) or take a local taxi to the Stezhka Na H. Kukul trailhead. If you choose to walk, follow the main road, and look for signs directing you to the trail. Walking may take around 40 minutes, and taxis can cost around 100 UAH.
Hiking
Once you reach the Stezhka Na H. Kukul trailhead, prepare for a hike. The trail is well marked, and it takes approximately 2 to 3 hours to reach the summit of H.kukul. Make sure to wear proper hiking shoes and carry sufficient water and snacks for the journey.
