Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Yaremche, which is one of the main access points to Hoverla Mountain. From Yaremche, take the H09 highway towards the village of Vorokhta. After approximately 10 kilometers, turn onto the road leading to the village of Tatariv. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach a parking area near the trailhead for Yalyn waterfall. The parking may have a small fee, usually around 20-50 UAH. From the parking area, follow the marked hiking trail leading to the waterfall, which is a scenic 1-2 hour hike, depending on your pace.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train or bus to Yaremche. From Yaremche, you can take a local bus or taxi to Vorokhta. Buses run frequently, and the fare is typically around 30-50 UAH. Once you arrive in Vorokhta, you can take a taxi or walk to the trailhead leading to Yalyn waterfall, which is about 5 kilometers away. The taxi may cost around 100-150 UAH. After reaching the trailhead, follow the marked hiking trail to the waterfall, which takes approximately 1-2 hours.

If you are already in Hoverla Mountain and looking to hike to Yalyn waterfall, locate the nearest trailhead, which is well-marked. Follow the signs that point towards Yalyn waterfall. The hike is moderately challenging and takes around 1-2 hours. Ensure you have proper hiking gear, sufficient water, and snacks for the journey.
