Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Tatariv, which is the nearest town to Hoverla Mountain. Drive northeast on the Tatariv-Kosiv road (H-09) for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Hoverla. Turn left onto the road towards the mountain. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers, following signs for Zhenetsʹkyy Huk waterfall. You will find a parking area near the waterfall entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around 50 UAH.
Public Transportation
To reach Zhenetsʹkyy Huk waterfall using public transportation, take a bus from Ivano-Frankivsk to Tatariv. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Tatariv, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the waterfall. If you choose to walk, head northeast from the bus station and follow the main road towards Hoverla Mountain for about 5 kilometers until you see the signs for the waterfall. The taxi fare from Tatariv to the waterfall is usually around 100-150 UAH.
Hiking
For the adventurous, a hiking option is available from the Hoverla summit area. If you are already on the trails of Hoverla Mountain, follow the marked hiking path towards Zhenetsʹkyy Huk waterfall, which is approximately a 3-hour hike (around 8 kilometers). Ensure you have a good map or GPS, as the trails can be tricky. Bring sufficient water and snacks, as there are no facilities on the trail.
