Walking
From the main entrance of Gorky Park, head towards the exit that leads to the main road (Sumska Street). Once you reach the road, turn left and walk straight for about 600 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for a large intersection where Sumska Street meets Universytets'ka Street. At this intersection, continue straight onto Universytets'ka Street, and you will see the M. F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum on your right, at number 5.

From Gorky Park, walk to the nearest tram stop located at the entrance of the park. Board tram number 2 or 3 heading towards the city center.
