Walking
From the main entrance of Gorky Park, head towards the exit that leads to the main road (Sumska Street). Once you reach the road, turn left and walk straight for about 600 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for a large intersection where Sumska Street meets Universytets'ka Street. At this intersection, continue straight onto Universytets'ka Street, and you will see the M. F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum on your right, at number 5.

Public Transport - Tram
From Gorky Park, walk to the nearest tram stop located at the entrance of the park. Board tram number 2 or 3 heading towards the city center. After about 4 stops (approximately 10 minutes), get off at the 'Universytets'ka' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk a short distance down Universytets'ka Street, and the M. F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum will be on your left at number 5. A single tram ticket costs around 8 UAH.

From Gorky Park, walk to the nearest bus stop located just outside the park. Take bus number 115 or 220 heading towards the city center. After about 5 stops (approximately 10-15 minutes), get off at the 'Universytets'ka' stop. The M. F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum is just a short walk down the street at number 5. The bus fare is approximately 10 UAH.
