Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are near the city center, head to the nearest metro station, such as 'Khreshchatyk' or 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti'. Take the Metro Line 1 (Red Line) towards 'Vystavkovyi Tsentr'. After 3 stops, get off at 'Arsenalna' station. This is the closest metro station to Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

  • Walking

    From 'Arsenalna' metro station, exit the station and turn left onto Sahaidachnoho Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Lavrska Street. Turn right onto Lavrska Street. Continue walking for about 500 meters, and you will see the entrance to Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on your left.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti', you can take Bus 24 or 114. Board the bus heading towards 'Pechersk', and alight at the 'Lavra' stop. From there, walk approximately 200 meters back towards Lavrska Street, where you will find the entrance to the Lavra.

  • Tram

    Another option is to take Tram 18 from the city center. Board the tram at 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti' stop and travel until 'Lavra' stop. After getting off, walk about 300 meters towards Lavrska Street to reach the entrance of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
