If you are starting from Rynok Square, head south towards the main street, Halytska Street. Turn left onto Halytska Street and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Svobody Avenue. Turn right onto Svobody Avenue and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the Taras Shevchenko Monument on your left, located in a small park area.

Public Transport - Tram
From the central Rynok Square, walk to the nearest tram stop, which is located near the Lviv City Hall. Take tram number 1 or 2, heading towards the 'Vynnyky' or 'Sykhiv' directions. Ride the tram for three stops and get off at 'Svobody Avenue' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead, and the Taras Shevchenko Monument will be visible in about 5 minutes.

From the central Rynok Square, walk to the nearest bus stop at Shevchenko Avenue. Board the bus number 22 or 29. After approximately 5 stops, disembark at 'Svobody Avenue' stop. Once you get off, you will need to walk about 7 minutes straight along Svobody Avenue to reach the Taras Shevchenko Monument, which will be on your right.

If you are near the Lviv Opera House, walk down the steps towards Svobody Avenue. As you reach Svobody Avenue, turn left and continue straight for about 8 minutes. The Taras Shevchenko Monument will be on your left side, situated in a small park.
