Getting There

Car

If you are driving from the center of Poltava, head northeast on Shevchenka Avenue towards Pervomaiska Street. Continue straight onto Hromadska Street for approximately 2 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Svitlovods'ka Street (signs for Kyiv) and continue on this road for about 4 kilometers. After passing the Poltava Regional State Administration, turn left onto the main road (E40). Follow this road for about 5 kilometers, then take the exit towards Poltava (E40). After about 1 kilometer, you will see signage for Kashtan Vavilova. The entrance will be on your right.
Public Transportation

From the central bus station in Poltava, take bus number 26 or 7 towards the Kashtan Vavilova area. The buses run every 20 minutes. The fare is approximately 10 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia). After about a 30-minute ride, get off at the 'Kashtan Vavilova' stop. From there, it is a short walk of about 500 meters to the attraction. Follow the pedestrian path towards the park area, and you will arrive at Kashtan Vavilova.
