Getting There

Car

From Vysokyi Verkh, head southwest on Vysokyi Verkh Street. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Haharina Street. Turn left onto Haharina Street and continue driving. After approximately 3 kilometers, merge onto E40 highway heading towards Kharkiv. Continue on E40 for about 10 kilometers, then take the exit for Kharkiv Center. Follow the signs for Shevchenkivs'kyi District until you reach Sumska Street. Turn right onto Sumska Street and you will find Kharkiv Zoo at number 35. Parking may be available nearby, but be aware of any parking fees.
Public Transportation

Begin your journey at the Vysokyi Verkh bus stop. Take bus number 222 towards Kharkiv. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Central Bus Station in Kharkiv. From there, transfer to tram number 3 or 5 in the direction of Shevchenkivs'kyi District. After about 10 minutes on the tram, get off at the Sumska Street stop. Kharkiv Zoo is a short walk from the tram stop, located at Sumska St, 35. Be prepared to pay for both the bus and tram fares, which are typically around 8-10 UAH each.
