Getting There

• Car

  Starting from Abu Dhabi city center, head southeast on Sheikh Zayed the First Street toward the Sheikh Khalifa Bridge. Continue on Sheikh Khalifa Bridge, following signs for Abu Dhabi Corniche. After crossing the bridge, keep left to merge onto Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (E10). Follow the road for approximately 10 km and look for signs indicating Al-Aryam Island. You’ll need to park at the designated areas near the island’s entrance as private vehicles are typically not allowed directly on the island.

• Public Transportation

  From Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station, take bus number 56 towards Al-Aryam Island. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Ensure you have some cash or a NOL card for the fare, which is roughly AED 2-5 depending on your destination. Once you arrive at the bus stop closest to Al-Aryam Island, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance. Be aware that shuttle services may be available depending on the time of year, so check for local schedules.

• Water Taxi

  If you prefer a scenic route, you can take a water taxi from Abu Dhabi Marina. Head to the marina and inquire about the water taxi service to Al-Aryam Island. The boat ride typically lasts around 20 minutes, and prices vary between AED 30-60 per person, depending on the service provider. Make sure to check the schedule and availability before planning your trip.
