Jumeirah Beach was originally a modest fishing village, with its inhabitants relying on the sea for sustenance. Jumeirah Beach is best explored on foot, especially along the waterfront promenade. For longer distances, you can use the Dubai Metro, with the nearest station being a bus ride away.
