Car
If you're driving to Hajar, start from Fujairah City. Head northeast on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road (E89) towards Al Uraibi. After approximately 30 km, you will see signs for Hajar Mountains. Turn onto the road leading into the mountains. Continue driving for about 20 km, following the winding roads. Be cautious of the terrain as it can be steep and narrow in places. Parking is available at various lookout points once you reach Hajar.
Public Transportation
To reach Hajar by public transport, take a bus from Fujairah City to Al Uraibi. Buses depart regularly from the Fujairah Central Bus Station. The fare is approximately 10 AED. Once you arrive at Al Uraibi, you may need to hire a local taxi or use a ride-sharing app to reach the specific areas within Hajar Mountains. Ensure to negotiate the fare in advance if taking a taxi, as meters may not be used.
Taxi/Ride-sharing
If you are already in Fujairah or nearby, you can opt for a taxi or a ride-sharing service to reach Hajar. The journey will take around 30 minutes depending on traffic, and the cost will range from 30 AED to 50 AED.
