If you're driving from any location in the Western Region (Al Dhafra), get onto the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road (E22). Follow the signs for Abu Dhabi until you reach the exit for Al Wathba Wetland Reserve. The reserve is located approximately 40 km southeast of Abu Dhabi city. After taking the exit, follow the signs to Al Wathba Wetland Reserve. There is ample parking available at the reserve. Note that there is no entry fee for visiting the reserve.

By Public Transportation
To reach Al Wathba Wetland Reserve via public transportation, take a bus from Abu Dhabi city to Al Ain. Once you arrive at the Al Ain bus station, you can catch a local taxi that will take you directly to the reserve. Ensure to communicate the destination clearly to the taxi driver. The total fare for the bus from Abu Dhabi to Al Ain is approximately AED 25, and the taxi fare from Al Ain to the reserve may vary but expect to pay around AED 50-70.
