Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're in the city center of Aberdeen, start at Union Square. Exit the shopping center and head south towards Union Street. Walk along Union Street until you reach the roundabout at the end. Continue straight to the next roundabout, and take the second exit onto King Street (A956). Stay on King Street, which will eventually become the Beach Boulevard. Follow the road as it curves and continues straight until you reach the Esplanade. Turn left onto the Esplanade, and you will find Aberdeen Beach on your right.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Union Square Bus Station, take bus number 13 or 17 towards the beach. The buses are frequent and will take you directly to the beach area. Get off at the stop named 'Beach Esplanade'. After disembarking, walk a short distance to the beach by heading towards the Esplanade where you will see the beach directly ahead.

  • Cycling

    If you have a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the beach via the Beach Boulevard. From Union Square, cycle to King Street (A956) and follow the same route as the walking directions. The cycle path along Beach Boulevard is safe and scenic, leading you directly to the Esplanade where Aberdeen Beach is located.
