Footdee Beach stretches along the north side of Aberdeen’s harbour mouth, presenting visitors with a broad expanse of soft sand and refreshing sea air. It is designated a Conservation Area, with many properties individually listed as excellent examples of early 19th-century North East Scotland fisher’s cottages. The village’s preservation and unique character make it a sought-after residential area. Nearby, a distinctive children’s play park with nautical-themed equipment overlooks the ocean, offering family-friendly recreation.
