From Footdee, start at the entrance of the village. Head northwest on the main road, which is called Shore Brae, towards the intersection with East North Street. Upon reaching East North Street, turn left and continue walking along this main road. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will come to a roundabout. Here, take the first exit onto Union Grove. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Viewfield Road. Turn left onto Viewfield Road, and Johnston Gardens will be on your right after a short distance. The walk should take around 25-30 minutes.
