Edinburgh: 4-Day Privately Guided Islay Whisky Tour
Islay is not just about whiskey and golf
Our trip to Islay, which was a birthday present for my husband was an outstanding time. Michael Mason, our guide for the trip, was exceptional and treated us as if we were long lost family. The Island is truly magical . The rolling hills, the bogs and wild heather, the friendliness of people, the islands history and of course the whiskey. We had a relaxing well paced agenda each day which allowed my husband to enjoy the whiskey, for me to learn and to also enjoy the beauty of the island. Our accommodations at Machrie were first class along with a stellar dining program. We will be back to Islay to stay longer next time.

This 4 day trip was spectacular. 1 night in Oban and 2 nights on Islay. The recommended distilleries were all very enjoyable. Highly recommend Whiskywheels.

4 Day Islay Whisky Tour from Edinburgh
Great experience, highly recommend.
The tour was very well planned with the right amount of time in each distillery and also leaving enough time in the evening to unwind with a beer (or two) from a busy day of drinking scotch :). Stefan was an amazing tour guide who ensured that all of us have a great time.
