Amazing day in the Highlands with Grant!

We had a fantastic day with Grant. He took us to Loch Lomond & through many spots in the highlands including Inverary and a cool ferry ride. He was friendly and warm and enjoyable to talk to. He played Scottish music for us and was accommodating to our many needed bathroom stops 😅. We had a great day with Grant in the highlands!

E-Bike Tour to a Fairy Glen and Hidden Waterfalls

Great e-bike tour with stunning scenic stops - highly recommend!!

If you’re thinking about booking an e-bike tour with Lochs, Bens and Glens - DO IT! I did the Waterfalls and Fairy Glens tour yesterday and it was absolutely brilliant. The route was stunning - waterfalls, forest trails, peaceful lochs and little hidden glens you wouldn’t easily find on your own. The e-bike makes it really enjoyable, especially on the hills, so you can just focus on the scenery. Fiona and Lance were great hosts - friendly, welcoming and very well organised. The whole experience felt smooth, safe and easy from start to finish. I drove over from Edinburgh and found the starting point really easy to get to in a couple of hours. I took the Western Ferries from Gourock (which made it feel like a little holiday!), they run every 20 minutes across to Dunoon. Once you’re over, the tour starting point is 5 minutes from the ferry terminal so it’s pretty simple! Highly recommend!

Wonderful visit to Inveraray Castle and West Highlands!

This was a wonderful tour with Anderson Scottish Tours. Callum did an excellent job communicating with me from the time of my booking through tour completion. In fact, he let me know that the Castle and Gardens would be closed on the selected day so he suggested that the tour be rescheduled so that all the sites could be enjoyed. He also kept me updated throughout. Iain did a terrific job as the tour guide. His deep knowledge and appreciation of history, music and the arts made the tour even more so enjoyable. Iain even wore a kilt despite the chilly day to make this tour even more so authentic! As we were running ahead of schedule, he added bonus stops including a visit to Renfrew and the Govan Old Parish Church, which was especially interesting. The Dunoon ferry ride was very pleasant too. Be sure to ask for Iain when you book this tour.
