If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Oban. Head northeast on the A85 towards Taynuilt. Continue on the A85 for approximately 9 miles. As you approach Taynuilt, follow the signs for the B845 towards Ardchattan. Turn left onto the B845, and follow it for about 2 miles. You will see signs directing you to Ardchattan Priory. The priory will be on your right. There is usually free parking available near the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Ardchattan Priory using public transportation, catch a bus from Oban to Taynuilt. The service is operated by West Coast Motors, and the journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Taynuilt, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles along the B845 to reach Ardchattan Priory. Alternatively, if you have a bicycle, you can rent one in Oban and cycle to the Priory via the same route.

Walking from Taynuilt
If you prefer to walk from Taynuilt, exit the bus at the Taynuilt bus stop. From there, head southeast on the B845. The walk will take you approximately 40-50 minutes, providing a scenic route through the countryside. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as there are limited facilities along the way.
