In 1973, their son Mark and his wife Kitty expanded the business by adding a small family-run restaurant, recognizing the growing appetite for dining experiences in the community. The restaurant remained under their stewardship until 1988, when their daughter Sheelagh and her husband Michael Macklin assumed ownership, continuing the family legacy with renewed energy and vision. Today, Digby's operates under the management of Claire, the fourth generation of the Digby family. She carries forward the values instilled by her predecessors while bringing her own contemporary perspective to the business. This multi-generational continuity is rare in the hospitality industry and speaks to the restaurant's deep roots in the local community and its commitment to excellence.
