    If you are starting from Bath Abbey, exit the Abbey and walk towards the main street, North Parade. Turn left onto North Parade and continue straight until you reach the junction with Bridge Street. Cross the street to stay on North Parade. Keep walking straight as North Parade becomes Pulteney Bridge, a charming bridge lined with shops. Cross the River Avon on Pulteney Bridge and continue straight onto Great Pulteney Street. Walk along Great Pulteney Street until you reach the junction with Bathwick Street. Turn right onto Bathwick Street and then take the first left onto Sydney Gardens. Continue walking through Sydney Gardens, and exit at the far side onto the Royal Crescent. You will see No. 1 Royal Crescent on your left at 1 Royal Crescent, Bath BA1 2LR.
