From Belfast city center, head to the Europa Bus Station, located at 2 Glengall Street, BT12 5AH. Take the Translink Metro Bus 8 or 9 towards Bangor. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Groomsport stop. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the coast, and you will find Groomsport Harbour just a short 5-minute walk away.

Make your way to Belfast Central Station. From there, take the train towards Bangor. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at Bangor Station. After exiting the station, head towards the bus stop and take the Metro Bus 8 or 9 towards Groomsport. Get off at the Groomsport stop. Walk for about 5 minutes towards the coast to reach Groomsport Harbour.
