Experience Queen's Square

Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Belfast City Hall, exit the building and head towards Donegall Square South. Continue straight onto Donegall Place, where you will pass several shops and restaurants. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the junction with Royal Avenue. Turn right onto Royal Avenue and walk straight until you reach the end, where you will turn left onto Castle Street. Continue walking for about 5 minutes and you will see Queen's Square on your right, just before you reach the River Lagan.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Belfast Europa Buscentre, head to the nearest bus stop located just outside the station. Look for the bus number 12 or 13 towards the city centre. Get off at the stop named 'Castle Lane'. From there, walk straight down Castle Lane, which will lead you directly to Queen's Square. It should take you around 5 minutes to walk from the bus stop to the square.

    If you are near the Titanic Quarter, start by walking towards the Titanic Belfast exhibit, then head towards the main road, Queens Road. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Donegall Quay. Turn left onto Donegall Quay and continue walking along the waterfront. After approximately 20 minutes, you will see Queen's Square across the road, just past the Custom House.

    If you are at the Belfast Great Victoria Street Station, walk to the nearby metro bus stop and take the Metro Line 1 (Metro 1) towards the city centre. Get off at the 'City Hall' stop. From there, walk down Donegall Place, turn right onto Royal Avenue, and then left onto Castle Street. Queen's Square will be on your right after a short walk.
