From Belfast city center, head to the nearest bus station, which is Europa Buscentre. Take the Metro bus service number 2A towards Carrickfergus. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Carrickfergus Bus Station, exit the bus and walk towards Joymount, which is a short 10-minute walk. Head east on High Street, then turn left onto Joymount. Continue walking until you reach Shaftesbury Park located on your right.

Head to Belfast Central Station, which is the main train station in the city. Take the train towards Larne. Disembark at Carrickfergus station, which is about a 25-minute ride. From the station, exit and walk east on the Station Road. Continue straight until you reach Joymount, then turn left. Shaftesbury Park will be just ahead on your left.

If you are already in Carrickfergus, you can walk to Shaftesbury Park. Start at the Carrickfergus Castle, head east along the coast, passing the marina. Continue onto Joymount, and the park will be located on your right. This scenic route takes about 15-20 minutes.
