Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the city center, head towards Donegall Square. From Donegall Square, walk down Castle Street until you reach High Street. Turn left onto High Street and continue until you reach the junction with Cornmarket. From Cornmarket, head straight towards the Custom House Square. Once you reach Custom House Square, you will see the river in front of you. Follow the riverbank along the Lagan Towpath. Keep walking along the path for approximately 25-30 minutes until you see the sign for Steamboat Quay on your right.

    From the city center, walk to the nearest bus stop at Donegall Square. Catch the Metro bus number 9 towards Downpatrick. After approximately 45 minutes, get off at the bus stop for Quoile Park. From the bus stop, walk down the path towards the river, and you will find Steamboat Quay nearby.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental services in Belfast. Start your journey from the city center and head towards the Lagan Towpath. Follow the path along the river for about 5 miles. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Steamboat Quay, which will be on your right side.
