We thoroughly enjoyed our day out in Belfast with Marti!

We had a memorable day in Belfast with Marti! Marti spent the first part of the tour explaining some Irish history from 1600s to the Troubles -- all a very useful frame of reference to understand Northern Ireland and the city of Belfast. Then we began a 3 hour walking journey through the heart of the city, learning so much about the eclectic side of the city -- where there is growth and new development -- not just in business, but the tens of thousands of new students coming to Belfast -- where to eat the best seafood, visiting the oldest pub and plenty of historic landmarks. A very fun and interesting mix of the old and the new. We thoroughly enjoyed our day about town with Marti! Highly recommended!

Great place to visit.

Belfast is just an amazing place with so many things to do. There are so many places to go grab a bite to eat or just a pint of your favourite brew, Robinsons and Fibber Magee are 2 of my favourite places to go, the food at Robinsons is delicious, then you can pop down into Fibber Magee for live music, and of course a pint of Guinness, get there early though, it gets full!! The Titanic Museum is also a great place to go check out, or even just do the hop on hop off, you'll see a lot of Belfast that way Obviously the best way to get around is to hire a car. If you do hire a car take a drive along the coastal road to explore what Belfast and Northern Ireland has to offer, the Causeway is amazing, as is the Carrick 'o' Rede Bridge. You can even take a drive down into Southern Ireland.
