If you are starting from the city center, head to the Belfast City Hall located at Donegall Square. From there, walk south along Chichester Street until you reach the intersection with Victoria Street. Continue straight onto Victoria Street, then take a left onto Waring Street. Follow Waring Street until you reach the end, where it merges into the A12 road. Continue along the A12 for about 0.5 miles. When you reach the traffic lights at the junction with the B1, turn right onto the B1. After about a 10-minute walk, you will see Blythe Street on your left. The George Best Mural is located at 9-1 Blythe St, Belfast BT12 5HU, which is a few steps down Blythe Street on your left.

From the city center, you can take the Metro Bus No. 8 or No. 9 towards the West. Board the bus at any stop along the Donegall Square area (look for the bus stop signs). Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the stop at the 'Belfast City Hospital.' From the bus stop, walk back towards the main road and take a left onto the A12 road.
