Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Berwickshire, head towards the A1 road. If you're in Berwick-upon-Tweed, take the A1 southbound. Continue on the A1 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the B6461 exit toward Coldstream. Take the B6461 and follow the signs towards Duns. Once you reach Duns, turn onto the A6105 towards Eyemouth. Follow the A6105 until you reach Burnmouth. Upon arriving in Burnmouth, look for signs directing you towards the coastal paths leading to Borwick Castle Sea Stack. There is no designated parking near the sea stack, so be prepared to park in the village and walk.

  Start by taking a bus from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Eyemouth; several service providers cover this route, and the fare ranges from £4 to £6 depending on the provider. Once you arrive in Eyemouth, you can either walk or catch a local taxi to Burnmouth. The distance from Eyemouth to Burnmouth is approximately 2 miles. In Burnmouth, you will need to walk towards the coastal paths that lead to Borwick Castle Sea Stack. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary, particularly on weekends.

  If you are already in Burnmouth, you can walk to Borwick Castle Sea Stack. From the center of Burnmouth, head towards the coastline, following the paths along the shore. The walk is approximately 1 mile and will take you through scenic coastal views. Be cautious as some paths may be steep or uneven, and wear appropriate footwear. The sea stack will be visible from various points along the coastline.
