Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Blackpool to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, start by heading south on the A5230 towards the M55. Merge onto the M55 and then take the exit onto the M6 towards Liverpool. Continue on the M6 for about 40 miles before taking the exit for the A580 towards Liverpool. Follow the A580, which will turn into the A5049. Continue straight until you reach Hope Street. The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic will be on your right at Hope St, Liverpool L1 9BP. Be prepared to pay for parking in the nearby car parks which can range from £2 to £4 per hour.

• Train

  For those traveling by train, start at Blackpool North Station. Take a train towards Liverpool Lime Street, which usually has direct services that take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Liverpool Lime Street Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Walk along Lime Street and take a left onto St. George's Place, then continue straight until you reach Hope Street. The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic will be on your left. Train tickets cost around £15-£25 depending on the time of booking.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, visit the Blackpool Central Coach Station and catch a National Express or Stagecoach bus service to Liverpool. The journey takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at Liverpool, alight at the Liverpool One bus station. From there, take a short walk by heading towards Hanover Street and then turn right onto Hope Street. The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic will be ahead on your right. Bus fares can vary but expect to pay around £10-£15 for a one-way ticket.
