If you are traveling by car, begin your journey from Llandeilo. Head southeast on Rhosmaen Street/B4302, following signs for the A482. After about 1 mile, take the A482 towards Brecon. Continue on this road for approximately 2 miles. You will see signs for Carreg Cennen Castle. Turn left onto Castle Road, following the signs, and after half a mile, you will arrive at the castle entrance. There is a parking area available for visitors, which may incur a small parking fee.

To reach Carreg Cennen Castle using public transport, start from Llandeilo bus station. Take the bus that heads towards Brecon, which is typically the number 55 or 57 service. After a journey of about 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop nearest to Trapp. From the bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile following the signs towards Carreg Cennen Castle. The route is well-marked, and you will enjoy a scenic walk through the countryside.
