Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, head towards the village of Coelbren. From Brecon, take the A470 southbound towards Merthyr Tydfil. After approximately 8 miles, take the exit onto the A4059 towards Aberdare. Follow the A4059 for about 5 miles, then turn right onto the B4558 towards Coelbren. Continue on the B4558 for about 3 miles, where you will see signs for Henrhyd Falls. There is a parking area at Dol Henrhyd, SA10 9PH, where you can leave your car (please note parking may incur a small fee). The falls are a short walk from the parking area.

  • Public Transport

    To reach Henrhyd Falls using public transport, take a bus from Brecon to Neath. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. From Neath, you will need to take a taxi as there are limited bus services to Coelbren. Taxis can be found outside the bus station in Neath. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Henrhyd Falls, and they will take you to the parking area at Dol Henrhyd, SA10 9PH. Expect the taxi fare to be around £15-£20.
