Car
If you're driving, the Wales Ape & Monkey Sanctuary is located at Caehopkin, Abercrave SA9 1UD. From the M4 motorway, take the exit for the A465 towards Neath/Aberdare. Follow the A465 and then take the exit for the A4067 towards Ystradgynlais. Continue on this road until you reach Abercrave. Follow the signs for Caehopkin. There is parking available on-site. Please note that there may be a small parking fee.

Train and Taxi
For public transport, take a train to Swansea station. From Swansea, you can catch a bus towards Ystradgynlais or Abercrave. Alternatively, you can take a train to Neath and then a taxi to the Sanctuary, which is approximately 10 miles from Neath. The taxi fare may range from £15 to £25 depending on the time of day and availability. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take the bus service from Swansea to Ystradgynlais. Once in Ystradgynlais, you will need to take a taxi or check if there are local buses that go directly to Abercrave.
