If you're driving, start from Brecon town center. Head northwest on the A40 towards A470. After about 1 mile, take the A4077 exit towards Builth Wells. Continue on the A4077 for approximately 3 miles until you reach a junction. Turn left onto Sarn Helen road (B4520). Follow Sarn Helen for about 2 miles, and you will find Maen Llia on your right, just before reaching the small car park area. Parking is free, and you'll see the historical landmark from the road.
